Anyone know the differences with the "NEW" style FL-500S filters? First, is the cannister, with the # of flutes (less flutes on the NEW).
I thought I read that the bypass valve is now in the base of the filter vs at the top....... I read somewhere else, that the new style has "louvers" in the inner ring, instead of holes.
So, anyone that works with Ford at a dealership know of any differences and why the design change?
