Do I need angles shims if I remove rear blocks and a 1 inch lowering shackle?

Do I need to install an angled shim to correct the pinion angle after removing the rear blocks AND the Ford lowering shackles…
would I need those angled shims to correct the pinion angle or will it be OK without?
