So I posted another thread about having a leaking pinion seal on my 22' with 18k miles. Took it to the dealer and they replaced it and the leak is fixed but when I was driving the truck home I noticed it has a faint whine/whirring noise on decel and only on decel, if i put my foot on the gas it will go away it definitely wasn't doing this before the seal replacement. From what I've gathered through online research they most likely botched the torque on the pinion nut thus creating the whine...
Pinion seal "fixed" now I have a rear end whine
